About me

What happens when a love of reading Jane Austen collides with a love of writing algorithms? After completing a bachelor's in English from the University of Utah, I later returned to my alma mater to complete the requirements for a minor in Computer Science. I've been working in the software industry ever since, spending most of my time creating documentation for applications that help semiconductor manufacturers improve their operations. I've also developed a range of custom utilities to make my writing teams more efficient. Along the way I've moved from Salt Lake City, UT to Seattle, WA to my current digs in San Diego, CA. I love to write about topics that include:

I created this site as a passion project to share information with other writers who like documentation customization and efficient operations as much as I do. For those interested in a look behind the curtain, I created the site using:
